CHAIRMAN OF THE JUDICIAL GENERAL COUNCIL APPOINTED
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga issued a decree on appointing E.Batbayar to the position of Chairman of the Judicial General Council of Mongolia.
Chief of Staff to the President of Mongolia Z.Enkhbold presented the presidential decree to staff members of the Judicial General Council today.
The newly appointed Chairman expressed his readiness to exercise his duties of ensuring the impartiality of judges and independence of the judiciary, as provided by the Constitution, and other duties responsibly.
The council members nominate a candidate for the seat of the Chairman, by majority vote, who is subject to appointment by the President.
