MEETING WITH PARK YOUNG-SUN, MINISTER OF THE SMES AND STARTUPS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga met Park Young-sun, Minister of SMEs and Startups of the Republic of Korea, in Davos, Switzerland, today.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the ways to support entrepreneurship and SMEs in the two countries.
During the 2019 visit of Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia, President Battulga had suggested the establishment of a council for young businesspeople to support young businessmen from the two countries and improve their connectivity.
President Battulga then asked the Minister to look into the proposal and take actions as the official in charge. While doing so, President Battulga reiterated his readiness to acquaint with relevant studies concerning agriculture, food, and tourism industries and work together on all levels towards Korean investment into Mongolia and adoption of know-how and technology from Korea.
Minister Park Young-sun expressed willingness to consider the President’s proposal and work towards producing outcome.
