PRESIDENT BATTULGA WORKS IN WESTERN REGION
Between 18th and 24th of September, the President of Mongolia completed a working trip through far-western and western provinces –Zavkhan, Uvs, Bayan-Ulgii, Khovd, Govi-Altai, Bayankhongor and Uvurkhangai.
The annual provincial trips aim at facilitating the local citizens with an opportunity to voice their requests and complains, and share their views with the head of state.
While being on a working trip, the President conferred “Mother’s Glory” Orders to the local mothers with multiple children, in each province. President Battulga also got au fait with the progresses of major developments in some provinces, including “Azat Halal” meat factory in Ulgii, Bayan-Ulgii, the Western Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Khovd, Khovd, and Taishir Hydropower Plant in Taishir, Govi-Altai.
