DEMOCRATIC PARTY CAUCUS OFFERS COOPERATION
The members of the Democratic Party (DP) caucus in the State Great Khural paid a courtesy call on President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, today.
Chair of the DP caucus D.Ganbat MP wished the President, the first to be elected for a six-year term, success in his works, and extended an offer of cooperation from the caucus.
President Khurelsukh expressed his appreciation and readiness for cooperation.
Deputy chair of the DP caucus S.Odontuya MP expressed confidence in the President’s ability to ensure unity of the people for the next six years. S.Odontuya MP asked the head of state to attach more importance to women’s empowerment.
President Khurelsukh pledged he will put special efforts into environmental protection, desertification, and conservation and promotion of traditional and cultural heritage during the entirety of his presidential term, and expressed willingness to collaborate with the DP caucus on these priority issues.
“The consolidation and growth of the Democratic Party, carrying a history of more than 30 years, is crucial for political formation in Mongolia. It is high time that the political parties worked in hand-in-hand for the sake of national security, unity and common interests”, the President remarked.
