MEETING WITH THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE SULTANATE OF OMAN
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, who is on an official visit to Mongolia, paid a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh on August 26, 2024.
President Khurelsukh noted that Mongolia strives to boost relations and cooperation with gulf countries under its foreign policy.
The President expressed confidence that the first high-level official visit from the Sultanate of Oman to Mongolia will provide a crucial impetus to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries and enrich bilateral cooperation with new economic content.
Conveying the warm greetings of Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq to President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi expressed Oman Government’s commitment to developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Mongolia in trade, investment, mining, agriculture, education, environment, and tourism.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on opportunities to cooperate within Mongolia’s long- and mid-term development policies, the “Food Supply and Security” and the “One Billion Trees” National Campaigns, and the “President’s Scholar – 2100” Scholarship Program.
Conveying the warm greetings to Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq, President Khurelsukh invited the Sultan of Oman to visit Mongolia at his convenient time.
