PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM TO LAM ARRIVES IN MONGOLIA FOR A STATE VISIT

PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM TO LAM ARRIVES IN MONGOLIA FOR A STATE VISIT

At the invitation of President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, arrived in Mongolia for a State Visit on September 30, 2024.

President To Lam and his delegation were welcomed and greeted at Chinggis Khaan International Airport by the Minister for Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Vietnam J.Sereejav, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Mongolia Nguyen Tuan Thanh and other relevant officials.

As both countries commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year, the Heads of State will hold official talks and plan to sign agreements aimed at strengthening the legal framework for enhanced bilateral cooperation during the upcoming State Visit.

Moreover, Speaker of the State Great Hural D.Amarbaysgalan and Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene will pay courtesy calls on President To Lam respectively, and exchange views on a broad range of issues to further broaden and strengthen the bilateral cooperation.

Mongolia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam formally established diplomatic relations on November 17, 1954.
