PRESIDENT BATTULGA PRESENTS FIRST PRIZE OF “BALDORJ” JOURNALISM AWARDS
The Ninth Annual Ceremony for awarding the best journalistic works was organized yesterday evening at Ulaanbaatar Hotel. The First Prize went to B.Enkhmart, correspondent of “Undesnii Shuudan” (National Post) newspaper.
Traditionally, the President of Mongolia presents the First Prize of Baldorj Awards. This year, President Khaltmaagiin Battulga solemnly handed the First Prize to B.Enkhmart.
Articles titled “Nulimstai Bokhon” (Saiga in Tears), “Khovch taigad gurav khonog toorood esen mend oldson O.Enkhzul okhin” (O.Enkhzul, the girl who were found safe and sound after three nights of being lost in Taiga), and “Altny omno Mongolyn khuuli, tor zasag bokhiij, Eroo gol Orkhony emgeneliig davtakh ni” (River Eroo might repeat Orkhon’s misfortune as laws of Mongolia and the Government bow down to gold) by B.Enkhmart have been selected as the best journalistic works and eventually led the author to be the laureate of the most prestigious award in Mongolian journalism.
