PRESIDENT BATTULGA MEETS WITH VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS
On August 2, the President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga met with representatives of volunteers who fought wildfires.
Last July, a total of 22 wildfires raged through the country and burned out of control of the National Emergency Management Agency. Then, so many young people gathered in the Sukhbaatar’s Square and volunteered to fight the wildfires. This testifies to our young people’s patriotism and their love to the country. President Battulga praised young people’s courage to fight blazing steppe and forest fires, and highlighted their organization and management.
At the meeting, representatives of companies and organizations, groups on social media and citizens were present. Namely, Pajero Club, Turbo Tent, Help Group, Firefighters Group, citizens of Tuv Aimag, Hilux Prado Group, Mongolian Association of Auto, Nissan Patrol Group, Gandan and Dashchoimbol Monasteries, Sonata 6,7 Group, and other people were present at the meeting.
