On July 26, according to the Article 34, Provision 2 of the Constitution of Mongolia, which stated “If a Presidential decree is incompatible with law, the President himself/herself or the State Great Khural shall invalidate it”, the President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga has invalidated the Decree #176 which was issued by the President of Mongolia on July 6, 2017. Presidential Decree #176 was on recalling Mongolia’s Ambassador to Hungary Z.Batbayar.
This Decree has been discarded, because it was contradicted with the Article 33, Provision 1 of the Constitution of Mongolia which said “To appoint and recall heads of plenipotentiary missions to foreign countries in consultation with the State Great Khural”.
Hence, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Hungary Z.Batbayar will continue his diplomatic mission.
