PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA, AS COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, DELIVERS SPEECH ON DAY OF GENERALS
President of Mongolia and Commander-In-Chief of the Mongolian Armed Forces Khaltmaagiin Battulga received Generals in the State Nine White Banners Hall and delivered a speech.
After extending congratulations to the generals, the Commander-In-Chief said “78 years have passed since April 28th of 1944 when rank of General was granted to 11 militants. Mongolian law provides that rank of General shall be granted to deserving officials of defense sector in general, including the border protection, emergency management, intelligence, law-enforcement and the execution of court decisions. The title is granted to You for Your merit and commitment to leadership over the staff for the sake of peace and security of the people. “General” is a rank of honor and respect. Thus, generals are obliged to live up to their prestigious title and be a living role model for good.” The President also warned that the law also provides the rank can also be withdrawn if the case appears to be on the contrary.
In the end, the President once again congratulated on the Generals’ Day and wished longevity to the generals.
“May the Eternal Sky watch over our generals,” he said.
