LETTER OF CREDENCE PRESENTED TO AMBASSADOR OF MONGOLIA TO JAPAN
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga presented a letter of credence to newly-assigned Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan Batjargal Dambadarjaa on August 17th.
The newly-assigned Ambassador was born in 1966 in Ulaanbaatar. He graduated from the School of International Relations of the National University of Mongolia in 1989, University of Tokyo in 1995, Waseda University in 2002. He holds the diplomatic rank Senior Shadar. He worked as Programmer, Project Manager, Economist, and Senior Loan Database Officer at the General Committee of the State Bank in 1989-2002, Counsellor in charge of Trade and Economy at the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan in 2002-2006, Foreign Policy Officer at the Office of the President of Mongolia in 2006-2007, Deputy Head of the Department of Trade and Economic Cooperation at the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2007-2009, Counsellor in charge of Trade and Economy at the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan in 2009-2011, Consul-General of Mongolia in Osaka, Japan in 2011-2012, Counsellor at the Department of Policy Planning and Strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2013-2014, and Counsellor at the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2014-2016. He has been working as Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan since August, 2016.
President Battulga reminded Ambassador Batjargal to focus on intensifying bilateral relations and launching large-scale economic projects, and wished him success.
