HEAD OF THE PRESS DEPARTMENT OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT RELIEVED FROM POSITION

Head of the Press Department of the Office of the President of Mongolia J.Tsesen submitted her resignation letter to Chief of Staff to the President Z.Enkhbold on November 14th.

Dulguun Orgil LLC, founded by D.Terbish, husband of J.Tsesen, received a loan for the purpose of supplying livestock fodder after meeting the selection criteria of a tender announced by the Livestock Protection Fund under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industries. The loan money was spent as designated with the fodder being distributed to the scheduled locations. Moreover, J.Tsesen is not associated with the company’s operations, and the tender was organized in accordance with the corresponding rules and regulations. However, in the wake of the controversy surrounding members of the Parliament and the Cabinet and individuals associated to them who abused their power to obtain loans from the SME Development Fund, attempts are being made to neutralize the public demand for justice through the act of widely attributing the responsibility to others. Therefore, J.Tsesen submitted her resignation letter to block such unscrupulous acts.

The resignation letter was received, and the Head of the Press Department of the Office of the President of Mongolia has been relieved from her position.
