PRESIDENT BATTULGA GRANTS CREDENTIALS TO NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR TO PRC
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga granted Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia Major-General T.Badral, appointed to represent Mongolia in the People’s Republic of China, his letter of credence.
During the meeting, the head of state underlined the importance of the Ambassador’s appointment coinciding with the special circumstances of COVID-19 pandemic, and instructed Ambassador T.Badral to put more efforts into mobilization of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
For instance, the President remarked, the projects on agriculture, road, transport, mining and energy need to be taken into serious consideration.
The President also instructed the Ambassador to lead the two countries’ diplomatic relations with fresh energy and eminent creativity rather than going with the flow, while applying pragmatic utilization of research, updated data and analysis on Chinese politics and economy into daily tasks of the foreign service officials at the Embassy.
