MEETING WITH DOAN KHANH TAM, AMBASSADOR OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM TO MONGOLIA
President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia Doan Khanh Tam upon completion of his term in Mongolia.
President Khurelsukh noted that 2024 marked the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Vietnam. The President highlighted that the relations between the two countries are expanding in all areas based on “Principles of Friendship and Cooperation.” The President expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Doan Khanh Tam’s proactive role in enhancing trade and tourism between the two countries and outstanding contributions to the visa exemption initiative for citizens of Mongolia and Vietnam.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the Mongolian government’s continued support and cooperation in all aspects. Mr. Doan Khanh Tam expressed commitment to working to strengthen Mongolia-Vietnam relations and cooperation in the future, focusing on fostering people-to-people ties.
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa awarded Ambassador Doan Khanh Tam with the “Friendship Medal” in recognition of his contributions and dedication to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
