PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA OFFICIALLY WELCOMED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh , who is on a State Visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, was officially welcomed by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Kuksaroy Palace.
The National Flags of Mongolia and the Republic of Uzbekistan were raised on the square in front of the Palace, with the Honorary Guard of President of Uzbekistan standing in the echelon. Upon President Mirziyoyev invited President Khurelsukh to the Ceremonial Podium, the National Anthems of Mongolia and the Republic of Uzbekistan played. After the salute by the Honorary Guard Commander, the Heads of State of the two countries greeted the officials of the two sides.
After the Welcoming Ceremony, President Khurelsukh and President Mirziyoyev held official talks and signed documents on bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The Kuksaroy Presidential Palace of the Republic of Uzbekistan, otherwise known as the Blue Palace, was built in 1990 under the initiative of the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. The Kuksaroy serves as the workplace of President Mirziyoyev and is also used for holding Welcoming Ceremonies for Heads of State of other countries and honorary guests.
