PRESIDENTS OF MONGOLIA AND UZBEKISTAN PLANT TREES
President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh is paying a State Visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, First Lady of Mongolia Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg, and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva planted trees at the Alley of Honored Guests, the Kuksaroy Residence as a symbol of the friendship and partnership of the people of Mongolia and Uzbekistan.
To contribute to the global efforts to combat climate change and desertification, and protect the environment the Heads of State agreed to collaborate in the forestry sector by coordinating “One Billion Trees“ National Campaign of Mongolia, initiated by President Khurelsukh, and the “Green Space” Project of Uzbekistan.
It is a tradition that the heads of state and governments of countries visiting Uzbekistan plant trees at the Alley of Honored Guests, “Kuksaroy” Residence of President of Uzbekistan or “Blue Palace.”
