MEETING WITH NATAŠA PIRC MUSAR, PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA
President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh and President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar held official talks in the State Palace of Mongolia on August 20, 2024.
The two Heads of State exchanged views on consolidating the achievements of 30 years of friendly relations and cooperation based on shared democratic values such as human rights, freedom, and the rule of law, as well as the development of the two countries and contributing to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The two sides discussed opportunities to cooperate under Mongolia’s long and medium-term development policies, “One Billion Trees” and “Food Supply and Security” National Campaigns, and the “President’s Scholar-2100” Scholarship Program.
The two Presidents agreed to jointly implement initiatives and proposals put forward by the two sides on the international and regional arenas and combine efforts to combat climate change, desertification, and biodiversity loss, promote women’s participation, and ensure gender equality.
