On July 18, the President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga has issued a Decree on involvement to extinguish wildfire.
The Presidential Decree states:
1. To authorize the Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General D.Davaa to involve military personnel and equipment from the units of the Armed Forces, in accordance with the Government’s recommendation, in order to extinguish wildfires in Selenge, Tuv, Khentii and Bulgan Aimags and eliminate impacts of the disaster.
2. To oblige Chief of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General D.Davaa to give directions to the military personnel and work observing the safety and security instructions.
