On August 5, Mongolian delegates led by Special Envoy and Foreign Relations Advisor to the President of Mongolia L.Purevsuren attended the Presidential inauguration ceremony of Hassan Rouhani, in the Parliament House, the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The inauguration ceremony drew an estimated 130 high-ranking international guests, including delegates from international organizations, Heads of State and Government, and Speakers of Parliament.
In his inauguration speech, Hassan Rouhani noted: “International collaboration is the only way to fight terrorism. In order to reach this common goal, Iran is ready for cooperation. Today, the world countries should reach common understanding through discussion and consensus, not by terrorism and violation”.
On the sidelines of his visit, Special Envoy and Foreign Relations Advisor to the President of Mongolia L.Purevsuren will hold meetings with Iranian officials to discuss issues concerning bilateral relations in politics, trade, economy, agriculture, science, and education sectors, in particular, he will continue works related to the joint historical studies of thirteenth to fourteenth century or the history of the Il Khanate Empire.
