PRESIDENT BATTULGA RECEIVES ALEXEY TSYDENOV
Today, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga received Head of the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation Alexey Sambuevich Tsydenov and extended congratulations on receiving Polar Star Order – High State Prize of Mongolia.
Beginning the meeting, the President said “First of all, I congratulate you. In the recent years, our two countries’ bilateral ties, regional ties and people-to-people relations have been improving. The award went to you in high recognition of your great efforts in upgrading transport cooperation of two countries. I wish success in your further endeavor in strengthening the bilateral ties.”
In response, Head of the Republic of Buryatia said “I am delighted for the high recognition from His Excellency President Kh.Battulga of my commitments. I am grateful for Your time. It is visible that the relations between the Russian Federation and Mongolia have been strengthening. I believe the relations of Mongolia with the Republic of Buryatia will become closer in time.” He also expressed an interest to supply electricity to Mongolia constantly and at stable price.
The sides exchanged opinions on intensifying ties in transit transport, tourism and regional cooperation.
