PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA RECEIVES PRESIDENT OF RUSSIAN RAILWAYS

President of Russian Railways JSC Oleg Belozerov paid a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga on February 2nd in the State Palace. Oleg Valentinovich Belozerov, who is paying a short visit to Mongolia, has been taking active part in the two countries’ cooperation in railway sector since his appointment to the position of the president of Russian Railways JSC.

First of all, Oleg Belozerov expressed gratitude to the President for his time. He said Russian Railways has been doing a job, but Ulaanbaatar Railway, a better job. Mr. Belozerov noted the current railway development can be accelerated, and asked President Battulga to attach special importance to the issue.

In response, President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga mentioned railway development is of great significance in Mongolia’s economic growth, and proposed to forward the dialogues and negotiations on renovation at Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC. The sides further discussed about possibilities of renovation at Ulaanbaatar Railway.
