PRESIDENT KH.BATTULGA MEETS HIS BELARUSIAN COUNTERPART A.G.LUKASHENKO
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga arrived today in Qingdao, China, to attend the Plenary Session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit. This afternoon, President Battulga held a bilateral meeting with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander G.Lukashenko.
Beginning the meeting, President Battulga expressed interest in building cooperation in all potential areas with Belarus, while underlining that Mongolia is sandwiched between the two great powers of the world and has small population.
Mr. Lukashenko also expressed interest in expanding cooperation not only in economy, but also in sports, noting that Belarusian athletes wish to learn from the “Mongolian spirit”.
The heads of state further discusses the potentials of strengthening economic ties and possibilities of realizing tangible cooperation in agricultural sphere.
