PRESIDENT KHALTMAAGIIN BATTULGA WORKS IN ZAVKHAN AIMAG
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga is working in Zavkhan Aimag.
President Battulga reviewed the progress of a training program themed The Descendants of Chinggis Khaan – Good Aspiration, Patriotic Leadership, organized among about 2,000 schoolchildren studying in the 11th-12th grades of general education schools in Zavkhan Aimag. The Governor’s Office of Zavkhan Aimag organized the training program with the support of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and the General Authority for Border Protection.
The schoolchildren participating in the two-week training camped in Tsetseg Bag of Ikh-Uul Soum, Zavkhan Aimag, and attended lessons , including Psychological Preparation, Military Code, Formation Preparation, Survival Instinct, Physical Exercise-Combat, and Patriotic Discipline.
On September 18th, the President worked on Ar Ganga Mountain in Ikh-Uul Soum where the schoolchildren along with students of the Law Enforcement University of Mongolia were engaging in post-fire forest maintenance activities under the supervision of a professional team.
On September 19th, President Battulga visited the camp in Tsetseg Bag, participated in the morning exercise, and presented Certificates of Participation to the schoolchildren.
Today, President Battulga attended the inauguration ceremony of a watersports complex in Bogdiin Gol Bag of Uliastai Soum, Zavkhan Aimag. The complex incorporates an enclosed swimming pool with 400 spectators’ seats, a sports hall with 500 seats and an additional multi-purpose sports hall.
Afterwards, the President delivered remarks at the closing ceremony of the training program The Descendants of Chinggis Khaan – Good Aspiration, Patriotic Leadership, which took place in the Stadium of Uliastai Soum. During the ceremony, 3,030 Morin Khuur players performed Duut Nuur by D.Tseveenravdan, Uulen Bor by Ts.Sukhbaatar, and Mongol Ayalguu by N.Jantsannorov.
