STATE ORDERS AND MEDALS PRESENTED TO PEACEKEEPERS
In accordance with the decree issued by President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga on presenting the contingent of the Mongolian Armed Forces’ Seventh Moto-Shooting Battalion who successfully completed their duties in the UN-mandated UNMISS operation in South Sudan, an award ceremony took place at the General Staff of the Armed Forces on September 20th. Chief of Staff to the President Z.Enkhbold participated in the ceremony and delivered remarks.
A “Red Banner Order of Military Merit”, 9 “Orders of Military Merit”, 30 “Military Medals of Honor” and 487 “Medals for Peace” were presented to the peacekeepers.
During the ceremony, Mr. Z.Enkhbold extended congratulations to the contingent of the Seventh Moto-Shooting Battalion for successfully completing their mission in South Sudan.
