PARLIAMENT ADOPTS BILL PROPOSED BY PRESIDENT KHALTMAAGIIN BATTULGA
Within his power, President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga initiated a bill on Amendment to the Law on the Procedure of the Plenary Session of the State Great Khural , and Chief of Staff to the President Z.Enkhbold submitted the draft bill to Chairman of the State Great Khural M.Enkhbold on January 4th.
At its plenary session on January 18th, the Parliament discussed and passed the bill by vote of majority.
With the adoption of the bill, it is legally possible to hold an immediate discussion in Parliament regarding a proposal to dismiss the Chairman of the Parliament that was submitted by majority of the Parliamentarians. The law will enter into force on January 25th, 2018.
