CLOSING REMARKS BY PRESIDENT KHALTMAAGIIN BATTULGA AT THE NAADAM FESTIVAL
“My fellow countrymen,
People of Mongolian descent living in every part of the world,
Distinguished guests and tourists visiting Mongolia,
The Mongolian great Naadam – a festivity that celebrates the legacy of our ancestors and raises the spirit of the people – is concluding.
Naadam participants got blessed with the dust from the fast steeds, enchanted by the sound of uukhai from the master archers, and thrilled by the skills of strong wrestlers for two days.
With a wish that next year’s Naadam will be greater and grander, let us close this year’s Naadam festivity.
The Mongolian Naadam festivity is surely to be spread far and wide while bringing joy to the people and consolidating our heritage along with Mongolia and its people.
Whilst the great festivity of the Nation is concluding, a season of diligent work is awaiting us.
Under the eternal blue sky, this year’s Mongolian Naadam is closing.
