MEETING WITH THE NIECE OF MARSHAL GEORGY ZHUKOV
Chief of Staff to the President of Mongolia Z.Enkhbold received Varvara Kirillovna Erokhina, niece of Marshal Georgy Zhukov, late Commander of the Mongolian-Soviet Army Group, four times recipient of the Hero of the Soviet Union title and Hero of the Mongolian People’s Republic, who is visiting Mongolia at the invitation of the Office of the President of Mongolia.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Erokhina expressed her gratitude for the hospitality with which she was received on her first visit to Mongolia and spoke about her tour of the Marshal Zhukov House Museum in Ulaanbaatar. The Chief of Staff and Ms. Erokhina had a warm discussion on the life of Marshal Zhukov and the military activities during the Battles of Khalkhin Gol.
