PRESIDENT PARTICIPATES IN THE HANDOVER CEREMONY OF A FOOTBALL PITCH IN YARMAG
Today, a handover ceremony was held for a football pitch that was built in Khoroo No. 8 of Khan-Uul District, Ulaanbaatar, within the framework of the FIFA Forward 1.0 program of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
The artificial turf pitch, 115 metres long and 85 metres wide, can host major international matches.
President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga participated in the ceremony and congratulated the football players. President Battulga also exchanged views on inter-federation cooperation with Jianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), who is visiting Mongolia, and A.Ganbaatar, President of the Mongolian Football Federation, while gaining familiarity with preparation works for the 2020 Children of Asia International Sports Games and the 2023 East Asian Youth Games.
