PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA WILL PAY A STATE VISIT
At the invitation of President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar will pay a State Visit to Mongolia on August 20-21, 2024. Also, President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar will participate as an honorable guest in the World Women’s Forum, which will be held in Ulaanbaatar on August 22-23, 2024.
During the Visit, Presidents of Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia will hold official talks and exchange views on expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries and collaborating on achieving sustainable development goals, such as mitigating climate change and desertification, and ensuring gender equality. Furthermore, the two Heads of State will discuss some issues of international relations.
The two sides will sign a Joint Declaration between Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia and documents to deepen bilateral relations and cooperation in transport, tourism, and forestry.
The 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia was celebrated in 2023. This Visit is the first visit by the Head of State of Slovenia to Mongolia.
