PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM WILL PAY A STATE VISIT TO MONGOLIA
At the invitation of His Excellency Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of Mongolia, His Excellency To Lam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, will pay a state visit to Mongolia from September 30 to October 1, 2024.
During this significant visit, the two heads of state will engage in high-level discussions, reflecting on the 70-year legacy of cooperation between Mongolia and Vietnam, while simultaneously exploring ways to elevate bilateral relations by advancing collaboration to the level of a “Comprehensive Partnership,” and exchanging views on a broad array of issues, with particular emphasis on deepening cooperation and expanding joint efforts in both international and regional forums.
A key outcome of this historic meeting will be the signing of pivotal agreements aimed at strengthening the legal framework that underpins bilateral relations, thereby laying a robust foundation for deepened cooperation and future advancements.
This visit holds exceptional significance, serving not only as a reciprocal visit following President U.Khurelsukh’s state visit to Vietnam in 2023 but also coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, further highlighting the enduring bond between the two nations.
